Terms & Conditions
Important Notice: All custom screen-printed apparel, DTF transfers, and squadron group orders are manufactured to your exact specifications. By paying a deposit, approving a digital proof, or participating in a group campaign, you agree to these Terms & Conditions in full.
1. General Agreement & Parties
These Terms & Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between you (the "Customer," "Client," or "User") and Newline Ink LLC (operating as "Newline Printing" and "NLINK LLC," referred to as "we," "us," or "our"). These terms govern all orders placed through newlineprinting.app, our parent site newlineink.com, via phone, email, or in person at our production shop located at 4850 W Ave L-13, Lancaster, CA 93536.
2. Custom Manufacturing Services
Newline Ink LLC specializes in professional custom garment decoration, bulk screen printing, Direct-to-Film (DTF) transfers, gang sheet production, and custom squadron apparel. All goods are custom-made; we do not stock pre-printed inventory.
3. Pricing, Setup Fees & Quote Validity
- Quote Validity: Itemized estimates and web quotes are valid for fourteen (14) calendar days from the date of issuance. Quotes are subject to adjustment thereafter based on wholesale garment stock and raw consumable market fluctuations.
- Screen Setup Charges: Traditional screen printing incurs a setup fee of $20.00 per ink color, per print location (e.g., a 2-color front design carries a $40 setup fee). Re-orders placed within 90 days may qualify for reduced reset fees.
- DTF Gang Sheets: Direct-to-Film gang sheets carry no screen setup fees and are billed on linear dimensions (1ft to 25ft rolls) with no minimum quantity requirements.
4. Deposits & Payment Schedule
To protect custom production schedules and garment acquisitions:
- Standard Bulk Orders: A strict, non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total order value is required before blank garments are procured or screens are burned.
- Final Balance: The remaining 50% balance must be paid in full prior to order release, pickup, base delivery, or carrier shipment.
- Squadron Campaigns: For Edwards AFB squadron group campaigns, individual members pay 100% at the time of online checkout.
- Accepted Payments: Major credit/debit cards (Square/Stripe), ACH bank transfers, official government procurement cards (P-Cards), or verified cash upon shop drop-off.
5. Mandatory Digital Artwork & Proof Approval
Before any job enters active press production, Newline Printing generates a digital proof displaying design placement, dimensions, and approximate ink colors:
Proof Approval Mandate: You are strictly responsible for reviewing the digital proof in detail. Thoroughly inspect all spelling, names, numbers, crest heraldry, dimensions, and garment colors. Once you approve the digital proof in writing (via email, SMS, or digital button), Newline Ink LLC is not responsible for any typographical or design errors present in the approved proof.
6. Edwards AFB Squadron Group Campaigns
For flight test squadrons, booster clubs, and unit morale campaigns:
- Campaign Timers: Squadron campaigns run for a designated window (typically 7–14 days). Once the campaign closes, the roster locks, and blank garments are ordered immediately.
- Volume Tier Thresholds: Campaign pricing is predicated on meeting unit volume tiers (e.g., 50+ shirts). If a campaign falls short of the target tier, the unit lead will be notified to adjust garment selection or extend the campaign window.
- Delivery Staging: Group batches will be packaged by individual airman order and coordinated for drop-off at designated Edwards AFB gates, unit hangars, or shop pickup.
7. Turnaround Schedules & Delivery
- Standard Turnaround: Standard production timeline is 5 to 10 business days commencing from the date *both* the 50% deposit is received and the artwork proof is approved in writing.
- Rush Production: Expedited turnaround (as fast as 3 business days) is subject to shop capacity and carries an expedited rush fee.
- Carrier Delays: Newline Ink LLC is not liable for carrier delays (USPS, UPS, FedEx), weather disruptions, or base security access delays beyond our direct control.
8. Intellectual Property & Artwork Indemnification
When you submit artwork, logos, military crests, or trademarks to Newline Printing:
- Client Representation: You explicitly represent and warrant that you possess full legal ownership, trademark rights, or explicit written authorization to reproduce all submitted artwork, logos, slogans, and designs.
- Indemnification Clause: The Customer agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Newline Ink LLC, its officers, managers, and employees from and against any and all claims, demands, liabilities, damages, and legal expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising out of any actual or alleged copyright, trademark, patent, or intellectual property infringement associated with the printed merchandise.
- Right of Refusal: We reserve the right to decline printing any artwork that infringes on known copyrights, promotes unlawful hate speech, or violates local, state, or federal laws.
9. Garment Tolerances & Color Variations
Apparel printing is a physical manufacturing craft involving dyed textiles, squeegee pressure, and high-heat curing ovens:
- Monitor RGB vs. Physical Ink: Colors displayed on backlit computer monitors, smartphones, and RGB screens will vary slightly from physical plastisol inks, water-based inks, and CMYK DTF pigments printed on woven fabrics. Exact Pantone Matching System (PMS) simulation is available upon request for an additional fee.
- Garment Dye Lots: Minor dye-lot variations between manufacturer blank batches (e.g., vintage-dyed Comfort Colors or heather blends) are normal textile industry tolerances.
- Manufacturer Sizing: Garment dimensions fall within manufacturer specification tolerances (±1 inch). Customers must consult official brand sizing charts prior to ordering; we do not accept returns for personal sizing misjudgments.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable California law, the total liability of Newline Ink LLC for any claim arising out of an order—whether in contract, tort, warranty, or otherwise—shall be strictly limited to the total dollar amount paid by the Customer for the specific defective goods. In no event shall Newline Ink LLC be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages, including loss of business, profits, or event sponsorship revenue.
11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions and any dispute arising out of or related to our commercial printing services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal action or proceeding must be instituted exclusively in the state or federal courts located within Los Angeles County, California.
