Refund & Reprint Policy

1. The Custom Nature of Decorated Apparel

Because all screen-printed apparel, Direct-to-Film (DTF) transfers, gang sheets, and custom squadron merchandise are personalized and manufactured specifically to your design, we cannot accept general returns, offer exchanges, or issue refunds for change of mind or subjective dissatisfaction. Custom merchandise cannot be returned to stock or resold.

2. 7-Day Manufacturing Defect Guarantee

We inspect every garment prior to packaging. In the rare event that your order exhibits a clear manufacturing defect, you must notify us within seven (7) calendar days of receiving your order (or picking it up from our shop).

What Qualifies as a Manufacturing Defect:

• Misprints & Smudges: Squeegee skips, ink bleed, heavy pinholes, or misregistration between print layers.
• Color Discrepancy Contrary to Approved Proof: Significant deviation from the approved ink colorway (e.g., gold ink printed when navy was specified in the signed proof).
• Incorrect Sizing or Garment Style: Garment brand, size, or style sent that does not match your approved invoice.
• Structural Garment Defects: Factory holes, open seams, or tears present before wear.

3. How to Request a Free Quality Reprint

If you identify an issue covered under our 7-Day Guarantee, please follow these simple steps:

1. Send an email to [email protected] with the subject line: Quality Review - Job #[Your Invoice Number].
2. Include clear, well-lit digital photographs illustrating the defect, along with a count of the affected pieces.
3. Chris will review the claim within 1 business day. Upon verification, Newline Ink LLC will immediately schedule a priority reprint run for the defective items at zero additional charge.

4. Non-Refundable & Ineligible Scenarios

Newline Ink LLC is not responsible for and will not issue refunds, discounts, or reprints for:

• Customer-Approved Proof Errors: Any spelling error, incorrect military callsign, incorrect date, or typographical error present on the digital proof that was approved by the customer.
• Customer Sizing Misjudgments: Garment fit dissatisfaction when the delivered garments match the sizes ordered. Brand sizing charts are available upon request prior to order placement.
• Normal Monitor Color Variance: Minor differences between backlit computer/smartphone screens (RGB) and physical ink on textiles (CMYK / Plastisol / Water-base).
• Customer Supplied Artwork Quality: Blurry or pixelated prints resulting from low-resolution artwork that the customer insisted on printing despite warnings from our AI Print Guard pre-flight scan.
• Post-Wear or Improper Washing Damage: Items damaged after wearing or washed in violation of standard care instructions (we recommend washing in cold water, inside-out, and tumble drying on low).

5. Order Cancellation Tiers

If you need to cancel a pending custom order before completion, the following policy applies:

• Tier 1 — Before Digital Proof Generation: You may cancel for a full refund minus a $25 administrative processing and transaction fee.
• Tier 2 — After Proof Approval, Before Blank Procurement: The 50% production deposit is non-refundable, as artwork separation and screen production will have already begun.
• Tier 3 — After Garments Are Printed or In-Press: No cancellations or refunds are permitted. The customer remains responsible for 100% of the total order value.

6. Edwards AFB Squadron Group Campaign Orders

For airmen participating in squadron group campaigns: once the campaign window closes and the batch locks, individual orders cannot be cancelled or swapped for different sizes, as blank garments are immediately ordered in wholesale bulk to meet unit shipping deadlines.
